Henex AI Privacy Policy

Overview

Henex AI is an AI marketing and media buying workspace for ecommerce businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Henex AI, including when you connect Meta advertising assets such as Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, pixels, and ad accounts.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, password, business name, website, industry, product details, campaign inputs, creative briefs, and campaign confirmation decisions.

If you connect Meta, we may receive access tokens and read account information made available by Meta, such as ad account identifiers, campaign names, ad set names, ad names, page and Instagram account identifiers, pixel identifiers, and ad performance metrics.

We also collect technical information needed to operate the service, such as request metadata, audit logs, queue/job records, and security or rate-limit events.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide, secure, and improve Henex AI. This includes creating AI campaign strategies, generating ad copy and creative concepts, saving campaign plans, showing ad performance dashboards, producing optimization recommendations, recording campaign confirmation decisions, and maintaining audit logs.

Henex AI is designed to require your confirmation before actions that publish ads, spend money, increase budgets, or pause campaigns. We do not sell your personal information.

AI Processing

Henex AI uses OpenAI to generate strategies, ad copy, creative concepts, scripts, recommendations, and explanations. Product details, business details, campaign context, performance summaries, and other prompts may be sent to OpenAI for this purpose. We use structured outputs where appropriate so generated content can be validated before being saved or used by the app.

Meta Platform Data

When you connect Meta, Henex AI uses Meta OAuth and the Meta Marketing API to access the permissions you approve. We use Meta data to list available ad accounts and business assets, pull performance data, create campaign drafts, and support review-based publishing features when enabled.

You can disconnect Meta access from inside Henex AI where available, or from your Meta account settings. If you disconnect access, some Meta-related features may stop working.

File And Asset Storage

Uploaded creative assets and generated asset records may be stored using third-party file storage such as Cloudinary or compatible storage providers. Asset metadata may be saved in our database to connect files with campaigns, creatives, and campaign approvals.

Sharing And Service Providers

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Henex AI. These providers may include hosting, database, queue, file storage, analytics/security, Meta, and OpenAI services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Henex AI, our users, or others.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including HTTPS, access controls, audit logs, review controls for sensitive ad actions, and safety limits intended to reduce accidental ad account damage or overspending. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention And Deletion

We keep information as long as needed to provide Henex AI, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and preserve audit trails. You may request deletion of your account or data, subject to required legal, security, backup, and audit-log retention needs. Your Choices

You can choose not to connect Meta, can revoke Meta permissions, and can avoid uploading optional assets. You may also request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information by contacting us.

Nigeria And International Processing

Henex AI applies the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 to processing within its scope, including personal data of individuals in Nigeria. Our Data Processing Policy explains lawful bases, controller and processor roles, cross-border safeguards, and rights in more detail. Mandatory protections under other applicable privacy laws continue to apply to users outside Nigeria.

Children

Henex AI is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the app.
